Why is my transaction showing as a negative or positive amount?

The sign of a transaction depends on its transaction type.

If a transaction has the wrong sign, you can correct it by editing the transaction type.

1. Open Spending > Transactions.
2. Select the transaction.
3. Select Edit.
4. Change the Type to Income, Expense, or Transfer.
5. Save your changes.

For example, if a refund is showing as an expense, changing the transaction type to Income will automatically display it as a positive amount.
