For security reasons, Amazon can only be connected through the Origin mobile app.
The Amazon integration experience is currently mobile-only.
Why Don't I See the Amazon Connection Option?
You may not be on the latest version of the Origin app.
Does the Amazon Integration Support Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, or Other International Amazon Sites?
No.
Currently, only Amazon.com is supported.
Can I Connect Using Login with Apple or Login with Google?
No.
You'll need to sign in using your Amazon email address and password.
If you typically use another sign-in method, you may need to create an Amazon password through your Amazon account settings.
How Often Do Orders Sync?
Orders sync when you access the Amazon integration experience in the Origin mobile app.
How Far Back Does Order History Go?
Origin imports approximately three months of recent Amazon orders.
Why Is My Transaction Showing as Matching?
Origin has imported the order and is searching for the corresponding bank or credit card transaction.
Amazon may not charge your payment method until items ship.
Why Is My Transaction Showing as Unmatched?
Common reasons include:
- The payment account isn't connected to Origin
- The transaction hasn't posted yet
- The charged amount differs from the order amount
- The order was paid using gift cards or rewards
What Happens If I Change My Amazon Password?
Your connection may become disconnected.
Simply reconnect Amazon using your updated password.
What Happens If Amazon Requests a Verification Code?
You'll be prompted to complete the verification process directly within the connection flow.
Once verified, the connection can continue.
Can I Disconnect Amazon Later?
Yes.
You can disconnect your Amazon account at any time.
Can I Reconnect After Disconnecting?
Yes.
You can reconnect Amazon whenever you'd like by going through the setup process again.
Who Can See My Amazon Orders?
Only the person who connected the Amazon account can view its order details.
Household members cannot view each other's Amazon order information.
I Received an Error While Connecting. What Should I Do?
First, verify that:
- Your app is up to date
- Your Amazon credentials are correct
- You can log in to Amazon.com directly
