Once you've connected Amazon, Origin can display itemized order information alongside your financial transactions.
This helps transform generic Amazon charges into detailed purchase information, making it easier to understand spending and track purchases.
What Information Is Included?
Depending on the order, you may see:
- Product names
- Product images
- Quantity purchased
- Individual item prices
- Shipping fees
- Discounts
- Rewards or gift card usage
- Order totals
- Purchase dates
Where Amazon Order Details Appear
Within Transactions
When Origin successfully matches an order to a bank or credit card transaction, you'll see an Amazon order card directly within the transaction details.
This allows you to quickly identify what was purchased without leaving Origin.
Within Amazon Orders
Connected members can also view synced Amazon orders within the app.
Orders are organized and displayed with item-level purchase details.
Understanding Order Statuses
Every order has a status that indicates whether Origin has successfully matched it to a financial transaction.
Matched
A matching transaction has been found.
You can view:
- The Amazon order
- The linked bank or card transaction
- Itemized purchase details
Matching
Origin is still searching for a corresponding transaction.
This often happens because Amazon may not charge your payment method until an item ships.
If your order is in Matching status, check back again later.
Unmatched
Origin could not find a matching transaction.
Common reasons include:
- The payment account isn't connected to Origin
- The transaction hasn't posted yet
- The final charge differs from the original order amount
- The order was paid with gift cards or rewards
Discounts and Credits
Origin attempts to display discounts associated with an order, including:
- Amazon gift cards
- Rewards points
- Promotional credits
- Coupons
When available, discounts are reflected in the order details.
Why Do Some Orders Look Different Than My Bank Transaction?
Amazon charges can vary from the original order amount for several reasons:
- Split shipments
- Partial cancellations
- Subscribe & Save adjustments
- Discounts applied after purchase
- Promotional credits
As a result, some orders may not immediately match the charge shown by your financial institution.
