Yes — bulk edits can now be undone (with a short time window).
When you make a bulk edit to transactions (such as changing categories, tags, or descriptions), you’ll see a confirmation toast notification with an Undo option.
You have ~10 seconds after confirming the bulk edit to undo it. Clicking Undo will instantly revert all changes from that bulk action. After this grace period expires, the changes become permanent.
How bulk edits work (and how to avoid mistakes)
Before confirming a bulk edit, you’ll now see a Review drawer where you can:
- Review all selected transactions
- Uncheck any transactions you don’t want the edit to apply to
- Confirm the changes with confidence
This helps prevent accidental edits—especially when using Select all on large datasets.
How to re-categorize transactions after the fact
If the Undo window has already passed, you can still fix categories manually:
Bulk edit (manual correction)
Go to Spending → Transactions Click the checkmark icon in the top-right Select the transactions you want to update Click Edit Choose the correct category and confirm
Single transaction edit
Use the category dropdown directly on an individual transaction.
Last-resort option (not recommended for most cases)
Disconnecting and reconnecting your accounts may repopulate transactions, but this will:
- Remove existing transaction history
- Delete all manual edits, categories, tags, and rules
⚠️ We only recommend this if you’re okay starting completely fresh.
