How do I create or update my budget with AI Advisor?

You can now create or update your Origin budget directly from a conversation with AI Advisor — no need to manually copy its recommendations into your budget.

Create a new budget with AI Advisor

1. Open AI Advisor.
2. Ask the Advisor to create a budget for you. For example:
   • “Create a budget for me.”
   • “Help me build a monthly budget.”
   • “Can you make me a budget based on my spending?”
3. AI Advisor will review your financial information and explain its recommendations.
4. You’ll see a proposed budget that includes your:
   • Monthly income
   • Savings target
   • Recommended spending limits by category
5. Review the recommendations and select Create with AI to save the budget to Origin.

Your recommended income, savings target, and category limits will automatically be added to your budget.

Prefer to set everything yourself? Select Create my own to use the manual budget builder instead.

Update an existing budget with AI Advisor

AI Advisor can also help recalculate or update a budget you’ve already created.

Simply ask something like:

• “Update my budget.”
• “Recalculate my budget.”
• “How should I adjust my budget?”
• “Update my budget based on my spending.”

AI Advisor will review your information and provide updated recommendations. Review the proposed changes and confirm them to update your budget.

What happens after I create my budget?

On desktop, you’ll be taken to your Budget page after your budget is saved.

On mobile, you can continue your AI Advisor conversation and select Show my budget when you’re ready to view it.

You can continue editing your budget anytime from the Budget section of Origin.
