What are Actions in AI Advisor?

Actions are personalized recommendations from Origin that help you understand what to focus on next with your money.

As AI Advisor analyzes your financial picture, it looks for opportunities and areas that may need your attention. When it identifies something relevant, it can surface an Action for you.

How are my Actions determined?

Origin performs expert-built checks across areas of your financial life, including spending, savings, investments, retirement, credit, protection, housing, education, estate planning, and more.

AI Advisor uses the financial information available in Origin to help determine which findings are relevant to you. Your Actions are then prioritized so you can focus on what matters most.

What information is included in an Action?

Open an Action to learn more about the recommendation. Each Action includes reasoning to help you understand:

• What Origin identified
• Why it may matter to your finances
• What you may want to do next

The goal is to give you more than an alert or generic tip—you’ll have context behind the recommendation so you can make an informed decision.

What can I do with an Action?

You have several ways to manage your Actions depending on your situation:

Mark as done: Choose this when you’ve already addressed the recommendation or know that the area is on track, even if the information available to Origin suggests otherwise. AI Advisor will re-evaluate the related check, and your score may update after processing.

Mark as in progress: Use this to keep track of an Action you’re currently working on. The Action will remain on your list, and marking it in progress does not change how the related check contributes to your score.

Dismiss: You can dismiss an Action card to remove it from your main dashboard. Dismissing an Action only hides the card—it does not change the underlying check or your score. You can still find the Action within AI Advisor.

Personalize your Action

If an Action doesn’t reflect your circumstances, you can provide additional information under Personalize Details:

Advice does not apply to me: Tell AI Advisor why the recommendation isn’t relevant to your situation. The related check will be removed from your score, and Origin will remember the reason to help personalize future recommendations.

Add context about my situation: Use this when Origin is missing information or something about your situation isn’t accurately reflected. Your additional context will be saved, and AI Advisor will regenerate the recommendation using the new information. The related check will continue to count toward your score.

Do I have to follow every Action?

No. Actions are recommendations based on the information available to AI Advisor.

Your financial situation and priorities are unique, and you should decide whether a recommendation makes sense for you. You can also use the personalization options above when an Action doesn’t accurately reflect your circumstances.

Will my Actions change?

They may. Your financial life changes over time, and Origin’s guidance is designed to evolve with it. As your financial information, habits, goals, and additional context change, AI Advisor can identify different areas that may deserve your attention.
