If you don’t see a recent transaction in Origin, it’s usually due to syncing timing or a temporary connection issue.
How syncing works:
Origin automatically syncs your linked accounts once every 24 hours. Most transactions appear shortly after they post with your financial institution, but a few factors can delay them.
Common reasons for delayed transactions:
Temporary data access issues during system or provider updates
Connectivity problems or weak internet connection during sync
Your bank may require you to re-authenticate the connection
Apple Card users: Transactions only sync when you open the Wallet app on the same iOS device used to connect your Apple account
How to resolve missing or delayed transactions:
1. Manually refresh your accounts:
Go to your dashboard homepage
Click the three-dot menu in the upper right of your Net Worth graph
Select “Refresh”
2. Try a different data provider:
Go to the Accounts page
Click the “+” to add a new connection
Search for your bank or card provider
Click the three dots next to it
Choose an alternate aggregator (Plaid, MX, or Finicity)
