At Origin, we aim to support as many financial institutions as possible by offering connections through three trusted data aggregators: Plaid, MX, and Finicity. These platforms power most of the account connections in the app and cover thousands of banks, credit unions, and investment providers.
However, in rare instances, your bank or institution may not be supported yet by any of these aggregators. If that’s the case for you — we get it, and we’ve got a workaround.
Here’s what you can do:
If your bank isn’t showing up in the search or is not connecting successfully, we recommend adding the account manually to ensure your finances are still accurately reflected in your dashboard.
To manually add an account:

Head to your dashboard.

Tap the “+Account” button.

Choose one of the manual account types at the bottom of the connection options.

Enter the account name, type, and current balance.
This will allow you to keep tracking your full financial picture, even if automatic syncing isn’t available (yet!).
