Q: How often does Origin sync my account data?
A: We initiate a secure sync for each of your connected accounts once every 24 hours, so your dashboards and reports stay fresh with up-to-date information.
Q: Are there times when updates may arrive sooner or later?
A: While the automatic sync runs daily, you can trigger a manual refresh anytime if you don’t see recent data. If data still seems out of sync after a few minutes, our support team is happy to investigate.
Q: How do I manually refresh my accounts?
A: Go to your Accounts page in Origin, select the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the account in question, and pick “Refresh”. If you’re on the dashboard you can use the three-dot menu on the net-worth graph for a quick refresh as well.
Q: Why might some transactions still be delayed?
A: Delays can occur due to the institution’s authentication requirements, temporary aggregator system updates, or if your bank prompts re-authentication. These situations may delay data appearing even though the automatic daily sync runs.
