Tax filing through Origin is changing for the 2027 tax filing season.
If you receive Origin through your employer: You may be eligible to file your taxes through Origin. Tax filing availability depends on your employer benefit and whether your tax situation is supported.
If you purchased Origin directly: You will not be able to file a new tax return through Origin in 2027.
If you previously filed through Origin: You will continue to have access to your past tax returns, even if you’re no longer eligible to file a new return through Origin.
To access a previous return, go to Tax → Past years taxes, select the year, and click Access your return.
