Can I downgrade from Expert Assistance after I’ve selected it?

No — downgrading from Expert Assistance is not supported once it has been selected.

If you choose Expert Assistance at the start of your return, or add it later as a buy-up during the filing flow, that selection is locked in for the remainder of the tax year and cannot be removed or downgraded.
