If you were told to expect an email to submit additional information for your cash account but didn’t receive it, here’s what’s going on and what you can do.
Why You’re Being Asked for Additional Information
We may need to collect KYC (Know Your Customer) information from you before opening your account.
KYC is a legal process that verifies your identity to help prevent fraud and keep accounts secure.
Check Your Spam/Junk Folder
The email may have been filtered out of your inbox.
If You Used Sign in with Apple
If you signed in with Apple and have Apple Private Relay turned on, the email may have gone to your relay address (a randomly generated email ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com).
How to check and forward Apple Private Relay emails:
On your iPhone/iPad, open Settings.
Tap your name → Apple ID → Password & Security.
Select Apps Using Apple ID and find our app/service.
Note the email address listed (your relay address).
Go to appleid.apple.com → Sign-In & Security → Manage Email Addresses.
-
Set that relay email to forward to your normal email address to ensure you receive emails from us regarding your Origin Invest accounts in the future.
Skip the Wait — Send Your Documents Directly
Instead of waiting for the email or if you can't find it, you can send your documents right now to hereforyou@useorigin.com.
Please send either:
A photo of the front and back of your driver’s license, OR
A photo of your passport
Tips for a clear photo:
Make sure the entire ID is in the frame.
Use bright, even lighting with no glare.
Hold the camera steady so all text is readable.
Check the photo isn’t blurry before sending.
Once your documents are received and approved, we can move forward with opening your account.
