How do I import my information from Mint?

Bringing your transaction history over from Mint is easy and can be done in just a few steps!

1. Connect your spending accounts in Origin

• Make sure all relevant spending accounts are linked so transaction data can be migrated

2. Export transactions from Mint

• In Mint, go to Transactions > Export Transactions to download your transaction history CSV

3. Upload the Mint CSV file in Origin by clicking "Accounts" in your Origin profile and selecting "Import from Mint"

4. Review and edit categories

• Assign Mint categories to comparable Origin categories
• Create new Origin categories if needed to preserve Mint specificity

5. Finalize category mappings

• Review all category mappings and transaction counts
• Make final edits then approve your mapped categories

6. Import transactions

• Confirm to import transactions and categories from Mint into Origin

7. Transactions show in Origin!

• Your imported Mint categories and transaction history now appear in Origin spending
