Can I edit a future month’s budget in advance?

You can create or update a budget for a future month at any time in Origin.

This is helpful if you’re planning ahead for:

• Travel
• Holidays
• Moving expenses
• Seasonal spending
• Upcoming lifestyle changes

Create a one-time budget change

If you only want changes to apply to a specific future month:

1. Go to the Budget tab
2. Navigate to the future month you want to edit
3. Select Edit Budget (or edit category's budget)
4. Update your category amounts

Your changes will apply only to that selected month.

Create recurring monthly changes

1. Go to the Budget tab
2. Select Edit Budget
3. Leave Apply to all future months turned on
4. Update your category amounts

This is useful for ongoing changes like:

• Rent increases
• New subscriptions
• Childcare expenses
• Updated savings goals

Plan ahead with rollover budgeting

You can also enable rollover for eligible categories so unused funds carry forward into future months.
