Is Origin Tax Filing DIY or Assisted?

Origin Tax Filing is a DIY (do-it-yourself) experience.

This means:

• You complete your return yourself.
• The system provides guided questions and calculations.
• There is no Expert Assistance included in the free filing. 

There is an option to buy-up for April Tax Expert Assistance to ask any questions you have on your return.

In the upgraded experience you will have access to a credentialed Tax Pro, who can answer questions while you complete your return. At the end of your return and before you file, you will select 2 topics you want to dive deeper into. You will have the option to join a phone call or receive guidance via email. This ensures you are 100% confident in your return before final submission!
