A: First, it looks at your past ~6 months of income and expense data. Then it gives a personalized snapshot of your average savings potential and spending habits. Next it proposes a monthly budget number, compares it to your recent behavior, and lets you adjust via a slider. Finally it suggests category-level limits based on your real-life spending behaviour, which you can fine-tune.

Q: Why should I use it?

A: Traditional budgets can be time-consuming and inflexible. The AI Budget Builder gives you a realistic starting point, adapts to your actual habits, and allows you to adjust things until the budget fits your life — not the other way around.

Q: Can I customize it?

A: Absolutely. After the AI proposes its budget, you can adjust the overall monthly amount, choose which categories to include, modify limits, and re-run the analysis at any time.

Q: What do I need to use it?

A: You’ll need your accounts connected to Origin so the tool has access to your spending and income data. Once connected, select Budget from the main navigation to find the “Build a budget” or “AI Budget Builder” option.

A: No — whether you’re new or already using budgets, the AI Budget Builder works. For existing budgets, you can run it to update or enhance your current plan.

A: You can reset your budget by going to Settings -> Spending Settings -> Manage Budget -> Reset Budget.
