When does the referral reward get activated?

Your referral reward — a $98 Renewal Credit that reduces your next annual renewal to $1 — is activated after all three of your referred friends successfully complete payment for their annual Origin memberships.

Activation timeline

• Once your third referral completes payment for a qualifying annual plan, your reward is automatically marked as earned.

• The $1 renewal rate will apply at the end of your current billing period, when your next renewal occurs.

• You can track your progress toward earning the reward anytime in the Referral Hub inside the Origin app.

Quick reminders

• All three referrals must complete payment within the same calendar year to qualify.

• Referral users will be signed up on the $1 for first year offer  

• Referrals that cancel or refund within 7 days do not count toward your reward.

• The Renewal Credit is automatically applied — no manual action is needed.
