How long does it take for money I deposit to become available to trade in my Origin Investment account?

When you deposit money, it can take a few business days for the funds to fully process and settle before they are available to invest.

The money begins transferring from your connected bank account on the day you initiate the deposit. However, banks require 1-4 business days to fully clear an ACH transfer behind the scenes before the funds can be traded in your Invest account.

So while the deposit may show as pending quickly, it is still traveling and processing for a period before you can actually invest it. This standard settlement time varies per bank.
